The Managing Partners of BayBridge-Baltic General Partnership, Jerry Nowee and Will McKay, have been involved in the seniors housing and health care industry for 25 years, both as independent owner-operators and as senior officers of companies involved in the sector. Their past experience includes operating a portfolio of seniors-oriented facilities located across Canada. These developments included supportive housing, assisted living and licensed care facilities. Individual buildings ranged in size from 72 to 190 units.
Since 2000 the Managing Partners have focused their efforts on designing, developing and commissioning seven seniors-oriented health care and housing complexes in British Columbia. Ranging in size from 90 to 256 beds, these campuses of care feature supportive housing, assisted living, complex residential care services, hospice/palliative care services, acquired brain injury services, and mental health and substance use programs. Some homes also provide bariatric, respite and community outreach programs.
In July 2011 and June 2014 BayBridge-Baltic General Partnership was very pleased to be granted the full corporate Accreditation Award from Accreditation Canada. The accreditation process, which is conducted by an independent, third party survey team, recognizes the efforts and commitment of BayBridge-Baltic General Partnership team members in providing quality care to residents and patients who choose to live in our organization’s homes. Attaining accreditation for our health care and housing complexes is also a contractual obligation which BayBridge-Baltic General Partnership is required to meet under the operating agreements in place with our health authority partners, Fraser Health and Interior Health.
